About Us
Before Origin Chess Academy existed, we were already making waves in the university chess circuit.
In 2021, we founded the Karachi University Chess Club (KUCC). What started as a student-led initiative quickly turned into one of the most active and successful chess communities on campus. Over time, hundreds of students joined, many of them complete beginners.
Under our leadership, KUCC became a learning hub. We conducted structured training programs, on-site workshops, online sessions, and crash courses to provide each player with a strong foundation in chess strategy, tactics, and critical thinking.
But we didn't stop at training. We created opportunities for our students to compete by organizing tournaments and encouraging match play, helping them apply what they learned.
And the results spoke for themselves.
In the HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Chess Championship 2024, our Girls' Team remained undefeated and brought home the Gold, while our Boys' Team secured the Silver medal — a historic achievement for KUCC and a proud moment for our entire community.
When we graduated, our academic journey ended, but our mission had just begun.
We realized it was time to take everything we had built and share it beyond the university.
With that vision, Origin Chess Academy was born.
Today, we stand as more than enthusiasts — we are experienced educators, dedicated to helping new learners master chess through personalized, performance-driven coaching.
We've helped students win national-level titles, and we're committed to training the next generation of confident, strategic thinkers.
Now, we're opening the board to all of Pakistan.
